Tumut High School is a comprehensive, Year 7-12, high school on the southwest slopes of New South Wales.

Tumut is a rural town in the southwest slopes of New South Wales. Tumut High School draws students from within the town and from surrounding localities, including Adelong, Talbingo and Brungle.
Students have access to a well-rounded education that values and supports the intellectual, creative, physical, social and emotional development of each student by providing them with the knowledge, understanding, skills and values for productive and rewarding lives.
Tumut High School provides many opportunities for students to develop a range of skills through a variety of quality educational activities, including sport, cultural, leadership, outdoor education, academic excursions, public speaking and Gifted and Talented activities. There is a strong commitment to Vocational Education through SVET and TVET courses as well as School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
Our strong student management and welfare protocols promote a safe and harmonious environment for all students. The students are encouraged to respect each other as they work cooperatively in meeting the school's high expectations. The school has strong partnerships with the local AECG, TAFE, local public schools, surrounding district secondary schools and local community.
